We are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company who are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This is a long-term contract role, starting in February 2026, with interviews scheduled for January.

The Role

You will be working on a concrete frame project, taking responsibility for:

• Setting out and surveying
• Quality assurance and record keeping
• Preparing and reviewing method statements
• Supporting site teams with technical input
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven background in RC frame projects - Essential
• Valid industry tickets (CSCS, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and site documentation
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification is desirable – training can be provided if not held
