Inhouse SAP FI/CO Consultant

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Consultant to join a major organisation in Germany as it progresses through a significant SAP transformation programme.

You will join an established SAP team and play an important role in the implementation and ongoing development of a new SAP S/4HANA environment, with a particular focus on Finance and Controlling.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the transformation programme from implementation through to go-live and subsequently take responsibility for the continued development of the SAP Finance landscape.

The Role

Working alongside internal business teams, SAP specialists and external implementation partners, your responsibilities will include:

• Support the implementation and development of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO

• Participate in workshops with Finance and Controlling stakeholders

• Analyse existing processes and translate business requirements into SAP solutions

• Configure and optimise SAP FI/CO functionality

• Contribute to end-to-end Finance and Controlling solution design

• Support the integration of SAP with other business systems

• Assist with SAP Fiori applications and user requirements

• Support data migration, testing and cutover activities

• Work closely with implementation partners and internal SAP teams throughout the programme

• Troubleshoot functional issues and support continuous improvement

• Take responsibility for the ongoing support and development of the SAP Finance environment following go-live

Your Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

• Several years of experience working with SAP FI/CO

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance

• Good functional and configuration knowledge across FI and/or CO

• Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes

• Previous experience working on an SAP implementation, migration or transformation programme

• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders

• Good understanding of integration between Finance and other SAP modules

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

• Fluent German

You do not need to have experience across every technology listed above. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong SAP FI/CO foundation who have worked within modern S/4HANA environments.
