Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

A growing building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to join its Kent-based team. The role would suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and technically focused consultancy.

The successful candidate will work across a variety of building services projects, contributing to the design and delivery of mechanical systems from concept through to completion.

The Role

• Designing mechanical building services systems across a range of projects
• Producing calculations, specifications and technical documentation
• Working closely with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines
• Supporting projects through all stages of design
• Attending project meetings and liaising with stakeholders
• Contributing to the continued development of the mechanical engineering team

About You

• Experience working within building services / MEP consultancy
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services design
• Experience with HVAC, heating, ventilation and associated mechanical systems
• Able to produce technical calculations and design documentation
• Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ideally working towards or interested in achieving Chartered status
• Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
