Senior Transport Planner

Leicester or Nottingham
£38,000 – £48,000

An established and highly regarded transport planning and engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join its growing Midlands team. Based in either Leicester or Nottingham, this role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of private-sector development projects within a collaborative and experienced team.

The Role

• Prepare Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
• Advise on highways and transport planning matters, including access strategies and feasibility studies
• Produce preliminary junction and highway designs for authority approval
• Deliver high-quality work to agreed timescales
• Support and mentor junior team members as needed
• Build strong relationships with clients, design teams and highway authorities

About You

• Proven experience in transport planning
• Confident using TRICS and Junctions software
• Experience with LinSig, GIS, AutoCAD, AutoTrack or similar is an advantage
• Able to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
• Clear communicator with a proactive approach
