M365 Solutions Officer (Power Apps / Power Platform)
12 month fixed term contract | £39,000 - £44,000 | Hybrid, Winchester and Andover
I'm working with a local authority in Hampshire on a brand new role, and it's a really exciting one for anyone who loves building in the Power Platform.
They're replacing old Access databases and manual processes with Power Apps, and moving people away from email and phone onto Teams. There are already 3 Power Apps ready to go, so you'd be building from day one.
Nobody in the team has Power Apps experience yet, so you'd be the go-to person. You'd design and build the solutions, and help a team who are keen to learn grow their skills too. If the apps land well, there's real appetite to invest more in-house rather than paying for big supplier contracts, and the role could be extended.
What you'd be doing
- Turning business requirements into working solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint (Dataverse or SharePoint backends)
- Packaging and deploying apps into Teams
- Supporting the wider M365 environment, including Entra ID, Purview and Teams admin
- Writing clear documentation and guidance once things go live
- Working with suppliers and service areas across both councils
What they're looking for
- At least 2 years building and administering SharePoint, Power Automate and Power Apps
- Experience taking what the business needs and turning it into something that works
- Some Entra ID, Purview and Teams admin
- A team player who's happy to share what they know
- Copilot Studio, Power BI, PowerShell PnP or RPA experience would be a real bonus, but it's not a dealbreaker
What's on offer
- £39,000 - £44,000
- Local Government Pension Scheme with a 13% employer contribution
- 23 days holiday
- Hybrid: 3 days in the office (1 in Winchester, 1 in Andover, and the third is your choice), 2 at home, and they're flexible
- Free parking at both sites
- Hours 8am - 5pm, with paid overtime at time and a half for evenings and weekends
- Free Pluralsight access and support to get certified, including Power BI and Copilot Studio
They'd love someone to start ASAP but will wait until January for the right person, so a notice period is fine.
The process starts with an informal Teams chat, possibly followed by a short technical test.
If this sounds like you, apply now and I'll be in touch.
