Estimator (Groundworks)

Location: Dunstable | Contract: Permanent | Working pattern: Office‑based (hybrid considered)
Package: Competitive (£50k–£75k DOE) + Car/Allowance + Fuel Card

We’re recruiting on behalf of a fast‑growing groundworks contractor with a historic turnover of £40m, £50m already secured, and a further £45m in late‑stage awards. Your impact will be immediate: win work, shape margins, and help scale a business that’s genuinely on the up.

What you’ll do

• Prepare accurate take-offs, BoQs, and cost build-ups for groundworks packages.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and subcontractor quotes to produce competitive tenders.
• Work closely with commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers.
• Contribute to winning work on major projects across civils and infrastructure.

What you bring

• Proven experience as a Groundworks Estimator (essential).
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, utilities, and enabling works.
• Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail.
