The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team across Birmingham and the wider UK market.

This is a pivotal leadership position within a fast-paced, technology-driven organisation where you will take ownership of sales performance, revenue growth, and strategic team development.

You will play a key role in shaping sales strategy, driving new business, and ensuring the team consistently delivers against ambitious commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets
  • Drive new business acquisition while supporting the growth of existing client accounts
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives
  • Work closely with technical, marketing, and partner teams to deliver tailored client solutions
  • Monitor sales pipeline, forecasting, and team performance metrics
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Ensure best-practice sales processes and effective CRM usage across the team

About You

You are a motivated and results-oriented sales leader with a passion for technology and a proven ability to deliver commercial growth.

You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy developing high-performing teams, and lead from the front when it comes to winning business.

Ideal Experience & Skills

  • Proven success in a Sales Manager or Senior Account Management role within Telecoms, IT, UCaaS, or Managed Services
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities
  • Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to sales leadership
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams-based solutions or similar collaboration technologies (desirable)
