My client, a bespoke Sustainability and Building Services Consultancy who specialise in MEP Design, Passivhaus and sustainable builds, is searching for an Energy Consultant to join their team in Shrewsbury.     

As an Energy Consultant, you will have the chance to work with an experienced team in Shrewsbury who specialise in energy modelling and operational energy for bespoke builds, major housing developments and mixed-use tower blocks.  You will deliver energy efficient solutions to reduce carbon emissions for many clients across the UK.  You will have the chance to work up to four days from home and one in the office.   Site visits will be required, when needed.  

Candidates are required to have a BSc and/or MSc in Sustainability, Energy, Building Services or Building Physics Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing IES Energy Modelling, EPCs, Energy Audits and Overheating Assessments (Part L and Part O).   

Applicants are required to have an EPC level 5 Assessment qualification and have experience of liaising with contractors, designers and clients to discuss project designs.  

As an Energy Consultant, you will complete varied building services projects, with a sustainable focus for a variety of sectors spanning leisure, residential, and commercial developments across the UK.    

You will have the chance to work with a variety of private and public sector clients to deliver energy efficient solutions.    

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience of BREEAM or NABERS UK and LCA Assessments using OneClick.   

You will also be required to complete; 

-IES Energy Modelling.

-Energy Audits.  

-Energy Performance Certificates.  

-BREEAM Assessments.

-Thermal calculations and associated calculations.  

-Overheating Assessments (Part L and and Part O) 

-EPCs

-Site visits to liaise with Clients and contractors when needed.
