Part 2 Architectural Assistant

We’re partnering with a design-led practice in Birmingham that balances creativity with practicality and takes pride in doing things properly. My client is now looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join it’s Date Centre team —someone who combines technical ability with a genuine passion for design. 

What you’ll be doing as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Supporting senior designers with concept development and detailed design
• Producing 3D models, technical drawings, and visualisations
• Assisting with planning applications and regulatory processes
• Joining site visits, reviews, and client meetings
• Contributing to presentations, research, and design development

What they’re looking for as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant: 

• RIBA Part 2 (or equivalent) with a portfolio that shows both creativity and clarity
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
• A sound understanding of UK building regulations and planning systems
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset
• Experience within the Industrial sector, although they would consider other project experience.
