Are you a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant looking to develop your career with a well-established and growing practice? My client is seeking a talented individual to join their team in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all RIBA stages, working within a collaborative team on a variety of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

• Assist in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
• Produce high-quality drawings, visualisations and presentation material to support planning and design proposals.
• Prepare planning application packages and technical drawing information.
• Work closely with architects, consultants and clients to ensure projects progress efficiently.
• Support project teams throughout a range of RIBA work stages.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and design team meetings where required.
• Ensure work complies with UK Building Regulations, planning policies and industry best practice.
• Contribute creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the design process.

Requirements for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

• RIBA Part 2 qualified.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• SketchUp experience is desirable.
• Desirable experience working on Residential projects.
• Good understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations.
• Strong design, presentation and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
