We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly regarded Managed Service Provider that delivers tailored IT solutions to businesses across the UK. Specialising in managed IT support, cyber security, cloud services, and infrastructure, the company has built an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional customer service and long-term client partnerships.

Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for an Account Manager to join their Chester team, managing an established portfolio of existing clients — meaning there’s no need to bring your own accounts or contacts. Instead, you’ll focus on strengthening client relationships, driving account growth, and identifying new business opportunities within a warm and engaged customer base.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Account Manager who enjoys building strong customer relationships while spotting opportunities to grow accounts. You’ll take ownership of existing client accounts, ensuring outstanding service delivery while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, and managed IT solutions.

Working closely with internal technical teams, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers and help deliver tailored technology solutions that add real business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships across an existing portfolio of client accounts
  • Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IT solutions
  • Conduct regular account reviews to maintain customer satisfaction and retention
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering a high-quality customer experience
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide solutions aligned to customer requirements
  • Support company growth through proactive account development and new business generation

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in Account Management within MSP, IT services, or technology environments
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud, and cyber security solutions
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts strategically
  • Motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude
