£50,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We’re working with a highly successful and rapidly growing UK technology business that is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its London-based sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who loves winning new business, growing existing accounts and building a portfolio they can truly call their own.

The business operates across IT infrastructure, cloud, managed services, networking, security and technology solutions, working with organisations across the UK and internationally.

The Opportunity

This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a list of accounts and manage them.

We're looking for someone who is hungry for new business, commercially minded and ideally has a portfolio of customers they can bring with them.

You'll have the freedom to develop your own accounts, identify new opportunities and build long-term relationships, while working alongside an experienced technical and solutions team.

Every time you hit your annual target, your basic salary increases.
 So the better you perform, the more you're rewarded.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and growing a portfolio of existing B2B accounts
• Developing new business opportunities and winning new customers
• Bringing existing customer relationships and accounts into the business
• Identifying opportunities across IT infrastructure, cloud, managed services, networking, security and software
• Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers
• Developing account plans and strategies to maximise revenue and GP
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
• Working closely with technical and solutions teams to deliver the right technology solutions
• Consistently achieving and exceeding annual sales targets
• Growing your own portfolio and becoming a trusted technology partner to your customers

We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

• Proven experience as an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager / IT Sales professional
• A strong background within IT sales, technology, VAR, MSP or solutions
• A genuine passion for new business development
• A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Existing customer relationships/accounts that you're able to bring across
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
• The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
• A self-motivated, target-driven approach
• The ability to thrive in an office-based sales environment
