Are you a Principal Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to help grow a team of Engineers, based near Chester?

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in the North West and have a keen interest in developing teams.   

This exciting role will offer you the chance to complete varied residential, commercial and industrial projects for private and public sector clients. 

Working in a fast-pace environment, you will complete varied technical work, manage projects and grow the team in Chester, supporting new team members.  You will also be expected to complete the following; 

• Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Flood risk assessments. 
• Flood consequence assessments
• Nutrient neutrality assessments. 
• Drainage strategies.
• Hydrological assessments.
• Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
• Flood risk mapping and estimation using ArcGIS.
• Support new team members and check complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
