Associate/Associate Director – Sustainability & Energy Modelling

A well-established consultancy specialising in planning, sustainability, and ESG is looking to bring in a senior hire to help grow its energy modelling and sustainability offering.

This opportunity suits both established Associate Directors and experienced Associates or Principals ready to step into a more strategic, leadership-focused role.

The role will involve:
• Leading projects and delivering energy strategies backed by detailed modelling
• Supporting net zero transition strategies across existing building portfolios
• Managing project delivery, timelines, and budgets
• Producing technical reports and commercial proposals
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting team growth
• Contributing to business development and new opportunities
 • Supporting sustainability certification processes

Key experience includes:
• Energy strategy and decarbonisation planning
• SBEM and dynamic simulation modelling
• Operational energy modelling and overheating analysis
• Daylight and environmental assessments
• Strong knowledge of UK planning and policy frameworks
 • Advanced Excel and data modelling capabilities

Desirable:
 Experience with carbon modelling, ESG frameworks, renewable systems, or advanced data analysis tools would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate:
 Will bring strong consultancy experience, leadership capability, and commercial awareness, with the confidence to engage clients and contribute at a senior level.
