Data Cabling Engineer Advert – Heathrow £220 per day

Our client, a world-renowned structured cabling company, has secured a prestigious contract at Heathrow Airport. This exciting opportunity guarantees more than five years of consistent work for skilled data cabling engineers. Job Overview:

• Install, terminate, and test internal copper cabling.
• Work on cabling projects for CCTV, access control systems, digital signage, and communications rooms.
• Adhere to full CDM regulations within a construction environment.
• Optional: Fibre splicing inside the building.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal copper installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 cabling, working for a structuring cabling company in a construction environment
• Proven track record in a construction setting.
• 5 years’ references in order to obtain a security pass. An accountant’s reference is also acceptable.
• Experience with cabling for CCTV, access control systems, and audio visual systems.
• Ability to terminate in comms rooms.
• Fibre splicing experience is advantageous but not required.
• Note: Candidates with experience only in external fibre or FTTP environments will not be considered.
