A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Building Physics Engineer to join our growing team in Bristol. You'll work at the forefront of sustainable design, supporting a diverse range of projects with robust environmental performance analysis and building physics expertise.

Your Role:

As part of our specialist team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable design solutions through all project stages. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting dynamic thermal modelling, overheating analysis, and daylight assessments using tools such as IES VE or DesignBuilder
  • Delivering energy assessments, Part L compliance checks, and whole life carbon analysis
  • Staying up to date with the latest regulations, tools, and best practices in building physics and sustainability
  • Collaborating closely with architects, MEP engineers, and sustainability consultants to embed environmental performance into the design process from concept to completion

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree in Building Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in IESVE or similar modelling software
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, including Part L, SAP, and BREEAM assessments
  • A passion for low-energy design, backed by analytical rigour and problem-solving skills
