Are you a motivated Civil Engineer with 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience looking to take the next step in your career? An established, award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy based in Cardiff is seeking a talented individual to join their growing civil and structural engineering team.

The Role

You will be joining a supportive and technically strong team, contributing to the delivery of infrastructure and civil engineering design projects from concept through to construction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the design of drainage (SuDS and foul), highways, and external works
• Preparing technical drawings, calculations, and reports
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting senior engineers with project coordination and delivery
• Attending site visits and design meetings

About You

• 1–2 years’ experience within a UK consultancy environment
• Experience in drainage and highway design
• Working knowledge of industry software such as AutoCAD and relevant drainage packages (e.g. MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ambition to work towards professional accreditation (ICE or similar)
