You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy parts department, working closely with the Parts Manager, service teams, and suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly. It’s a varied role suited to someone proactive, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

The Role

Support the operation of the parts department by managing orders, handling enquiries, and liaising with suppliers. You’ll be a key point of contact for both customers and colleagues, ensuring parts are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and accurately recorded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Parts Manager with daily operational tasks
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure best pricing and delivery times
  • Handle customer and supplier enquiries via phone and email
  • Process incoming orders and manage returns efficiently
  • Work closely with service and workshop teams to ensure timely parts delivery
  • Provide occasional support to the Service Department when required
  • Assist colleagues as needed to support overall team performance
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks promptly

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a parts, service, or administrative role
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working with suppliers, systems, and internal teams
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to support others
