Civil Engineer – Development Infrastructure

A well-established engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer (Graduate +2 years minimum) to support the delivery of residential and commercial development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of infrastructure disciplines, contributing to schemes from early design through to technical approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed drainage, highway and earthworks designs for development projects
• Supporting the preparation and submission of technical approvals and agreements
• Assisting with the delivery of highway and sewer adoption processes, including sectional agreements
• Working on residential and/or commercial development schemes from concept to detailed design
• Coordinating with clients, local authorities and statutory bodies to progress projects
• Supporting senior engineers in the technical and commercial delivery of projects

Candidate Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience within a consultancy or similar environment
• Practical experience in drainage design, highway design and earthworks
• Experience supporting or securing highway and sewer adoption agreements
• Background working on residential and/or commercial development projects
• Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills
