Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Location: London

Salary: £48,000 - £52,000

An established and leading consultancy firm is seeking to hire an eager and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in London.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce detailed electrical designs using relevant software i.e. AutoCAD, Revit etc
• Conduct site inspections
• Attend client meetings
• Generate technical reports, engineering calculations, schedules, and tender documentation.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies, best practices and industry developments.
• Working knowledge of BS 7671 IET 
• Knowledge and experience in: LV Distribution, Small Power, Containment, Lighting and Emergency Lighting

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3-4 + years’ experience
• Knowledge of IES, SBEM and Part L
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Willingness to travel
