We’re working with a leading multi-disciplinary Environmental Consultancy looking to grow their Acoustics team with the addition of an Acoustic Consultant in their London office.

Their Acoustics division works across a range of sectors including transport infrastructure, energy, residential and commercial development, and industrial projects.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll support senior consultants on a diverse range of acoustics and noise-related projects, with responsibilities including:

  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of noise and vibration assessments
  • Undertaking on-site noise surveys and monitoring
  • Data analysis and interpretation using industry-standard tools
  • Supporting environmental impact assessments (EIA) and planning applications
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and project teams
  • Keeping up to date with current standards and best practices in acoustics

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience on nationally significant infrastructure and development projects, as well as smaller-scale local schemes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years' experience working as an Acoustic Consultant within a UK consultancy.
  • A degree in Acoustical Engineering, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related subject (ideally with an acoustics component)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) is desirable due to occasional travel
