Associate / Associate Director – Sustainability & Energy Modelling

£65k–£85k

We are currently partnering with a multinational consultancy with a network of offices across the UK that is operating across planning, sustainability, and ESG. The company is looking to strengthen its senior team with a strategic hire in energy modelling and sustainability.

This role is well suited to an established Associate Director or an experienced Associate/Principal ready to step up into a more influential, leadership-driven position.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading the delivery of energy strategies supported by detailed modelling
• Driving net zero and decarbonisation plans across building portfolios
• Overseeing project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met
• Producing high-quality technical outputs and supporting commercial proposals
• Mentoring team members and contributing to capability growth
• Playing an active role in business development and client engagement
 • Supporting sustainability certifications and wider ESG initiatives

What you’ll bring:
• Strong background in energy strategy and decarbonisation
• Experience with SBEM and dynamic simulation modelling
• Knowledge of operational energy, overheating, and environmental analysis
• Solid understanding of UK planning policy and regulatory frameworks
 • Advanced Excel and data modelling skills

Bonus experience:
 Exposure to whole life carbon, ESG frameworks, renewables, or advanced analytics tools would be advantageous.
