Graduate Structural Engineer – Bath

Are you a passionate Graduate Structural Engineer looking to build your career within an established and highly regarded structural engineering consultancy?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established structural engineering practice in Bath, working alongside experienced engineers and directors on a diverse range of challenging and interesting projects.

The Role

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers and directors, getting involved in projects from initial concepts through to detailed design.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop initial design concepts and sketch schemes

• Prepare structural calculations and design packages

• Work across a variety of building structures and structural materials

• Assist with civil engineering structures, including retaining walls and landscape structures

• Work closely with engineering technicians and contribute to the production of technical drawings

• Develop your technical knowledge and progress your career within a supportive team

About You

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Some industry experience or exposure to structural design, ideally within building structures

• An understanding of key structural materials and design principles

• Strong attention to detail and an ability to produce accurate calculations

• Experience with TEDDS, Tekla and AutoCAD would be advantageous
