TPL are working with an established property consultancy to identify a Utilities Associate for the Birmingham offices. 

The Associate will join a successful team advising an array of clients across compensation, infrastructure, utilities and property consultancy.

Responsibilities will include:

• Advising landowners, promoters and developers affected by Statutory Bodies assets, including in the preparation of notices, compensation and negotiation of claims and agreements and removal of said assets.
• Advising project promoters, landowners and developers on strategic advice for their large development projects.
• Preparing development appraisals and undertake valuations in connection with claims against Statutory Bodies.
• Generating new business development to create a expand the client base for the Diversions and Compensation team.
• Nurture existing client relationships with key clients and generating new business.
• Prepare reports and advice notes in accordance with the business's quality assurance procedures.

To be considered you will:

• Have a good attention to detail and some prior valuation experience.
• Ideally be MRICS qualified.
• Have good interpersonal & communication skills.
