Job Title: Senior Engineer – Infrastructure

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a newly established infrastructure team based in our London office. This permanent position will play a key role in supporting a growing portfolio of projects, primarily for major residential developments.
Our projects span all stages—from initial feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction. Scheme sizes typically range from around 50 units to several thousand.
What We’re Looking For:
A strong technical background with significant post-graduate (or equivalent) experience
Proven experience in pre-planning and planning stages, along with a good understanding of detailed design and technical approvals (S104, S38, S278, etc.)
Proficiency in MicroDrainage and AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive mindset with a desire to mentor and develop junior staff
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on the level of appointment (Engineer or Senior Engineer), the role will include a mix of the following:
Lead and manage the design of infrastructure schemes across a range of projects (Senior role)
Support junior team members through delegation, review of work, and ensuring high-quality outputs (Both roles)
Liaise with clients, prepare fee proposals, manage projects, and contribute to business development (Senior role)
Develop concept and detailed drainage strategies (Both roles)
Create levels strategies and oversee production of earthworks appraisals (Both roles)
Produce planning documentation such as Flood Risk Assessments, drainage technical notes, and utilities statements (Both roles)
Carry out due diligence reviews to support land acquisitions (Both roles)
Location & Working Pattern:
The successful candidate will be expected to work from the London office 3 to 4 days per week, with flexible working arrangements available.
