The Role:

  • Producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans in support of planning applications
  • Undertaking junction and site access modelling and capacity assessments
  • Providing technical transport input across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to construction
  • Working closely with project managers, other disciplines, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
  • Liaising with local authorities and statutory bodies where required

What's Required:

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar transport planning role
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant modelling software (e.g. Junctions 9/ARCADY/PICADY, LinSig) and UK planning/transport standards
  • Chartered status (or working towards, e.g. TPS/CIHT) would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

What's on Offer:

  • Salary of £35,000–£45,000, dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working
  • The chance to work within a multidisciplinary consultancy offering a diverse and interesting project pipeline across all sectors
  • A supportive team environment with genuine progression opportunities

Based in Oxford, this role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their transport planning career with a firm that values technical excellence and close collaboration across disciplines.
