Aztrum are proud to be working with a specialist architectural and planning consultancy who are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced Architect to join their growing team. The practice works across the rural, equestrian, residential and commercial sectors, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect to join a small, collaborative studio environment, taking ownership of projects, managing client relationships and gaining hands-on experience across all RIBA stages. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors while contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities for this Architect role:

• Lead and manage projects from initial concept and planning through to technical delivery and construction
• Develop architectural concepts, sketches and detailed drawing packages
• Produce high-quality plans, sections, elevations and technical details
• Manage project programmes, budgets and quality expectations
• Liaise directly with clients and build strong professional relationships
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders
• Undertake site visits and inspections, monitoring progress and resolving issues
• Assist with planning applications, building regulation submissions and project administration
• Maintain accurate project records, meeting documentation and reporting

Key Requirements for this Architect role:

• Qualified Architect and ARB registered with relevant professional experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office
• Excellent understanding of architectural principles, technical detailing and Building Regulations
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Professional, proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for site visits
