Business Development and Marketing Manager 

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development and Marketing Manager for a leading, award-winning law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious firm where your expertise in business development and marketing will play a key role in driving growth and enhancing the firm’s reputation. This will cover the regulatory & public law practice, but the firm is ideally looking for a BD & Marketing professional with generalist experience. 

The Role:

As the Business Development and Marketing Manager, you will work closely with partners and cross-functional teams to drive impactful BD initiatives and manage key marketing projects. You will oversee and shape the firm’s strategy to increase visibility and enhance client engagement within the Regulatory and Public Law sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content & PR: Develop and execute the firm’s content strategy, including social media, blogs, articles, and thought leadership. Manage media relationships and coordinate PR initiatives to increase the firm’s presence in key markets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring the firm is well-positioned to win new business and expand existing client relationships.
  • Strategic BD Planning: Work closely with the firm’s leadership to develop and implement BD strategies that align with the firm’s broader goals. Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered to the highest standard.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in generalist BD and marketing within a law firm environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft compelling award proposals and content.
  • Experience with client relationship management and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of BD and marketing strategy within the legal industry.
  • Motivated and driven, with a desire to grow within the firm and take on increasing responsibility.
