As Associate Director, you will lead multidisciplinary civil engineering projects, manage client relationships, and drive commercial performance. You will contribute to strategic decisions while playing a key role in team development and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver civil engineering projects across development, infrastructure, and built-environment sectors.
Oversee commercial management including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Support business development activities, including bids and proposals.
Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practice.
Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Contribute to strategic planning and operational leadership within the Birmingham office.

Essential Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred.
Significant consultancy experience delivering civil engineering projects.
Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience managing project finances and risk.
Proven ability to win work and nurture long-term client relationships.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the consultancy confidently.
