Our Client is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join their well-established development team during an exciting period of system rebuild and enhancements.

Technical Requirements:

• PHP
• Laravel
• JavaScript

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cutting-edge applications using PHP 7, MySQL, and other technologies, as well as integrating with APIs
• Propose new functionality and methods to enhance the overall customer and staff experience
• Maintain existing codebase, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and adding new features
• Mentor and support junior team members

Desired Skills and Qualities:

• Professionalism and strong communication skills
• Ability to work towards targets and deadlines
• Understanding of unit testing principles
• Experience with RESTful / SOAP API creation
• Familiarity with Vagrant or Docker
• Expertise in PHP 7.x, Vanilla JavaScript, and PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel 5.x – 6.x)
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue (preferred)
• Solid understanding of web application development, from user interface to relational database structures
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git

Basic pay ranging from £30,000 - £50,000 per annum dependant on experience.
