Civil Engineer
Location: Port Talbot
£40,000 – £45,000 + Benefits

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established architecture and civil/structural engineering consultancy based in Port Talbot, who are looking to add a Civil Engineer to their growing team.

This consultancy delivers a range of architectural, civil, and structural engineering services, working closely with clients to support projects from early concept and design stages through to construction and completion. Their integrated approach allows them to provide practical, efficient solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of sectors.

The Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of infrastructure and development projects, working alongside architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to produce high-quality engineering solutions.

You will be involved in projects from initial planning and design through to detailed engineering and implementation, contributing to technical designs, reports, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and engineering reports
• Work collaboratively with architects, structural engineers, and project teams
• Support project delivery from concept design through to construction stages
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities where required
• Ensure designs meet relevant standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in development infrastructure or civil engineering design
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or similar software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
