A respected, multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Air Quality Consultant to join its growing environmental team. The Role

You’ll be part of a supportive air quality and environmental planning team, working on a varied portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking air quality and odour assessments to support planning applications
• Dispersion modelling (ADMS / AERMOD) and technical reporting
• Contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and project teams
• Supporting senior staff with business development and mentoring of junior team members (depending on experience)

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related discipline
• Demonstrable experience in air quality consultancy, ideally within the UK planning framework
• Experience with relevant modelling software and data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, professional approach with an interest in sustainable design and development
