Our client is a well-established international retail company operating across multiple European markets, with a strong focus on operational excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement

They are looking for a Global Accounts Receivable Process & Project Manager to take ownership of Accounts Receivable processes across eight countries, ensuring consistency, efficiency and quality while driving process optimization and contributing to international transformation initiatives

This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional who combines strong Accounts Receivable expertise with process management, project leadership and people development skills

Main Responsibilities:

• Take global ownership of Accounts Receivable processes across eight countries, driving process design, standardization, and continuous improvement
• Define and maintain global process standards to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality execution across countries and legal entities
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and Accounts Receivable regulations, supporting internal and external audits
• Monitor process performance, error rates, and exceptions to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve process quality, efficiency, cycle times, and service levels
• Lead or coordinate process optimization projects and contribute to complex international transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with IT, business functions, and local country teams to ensure effective coordination and implementation of process improvements
• Lead and develop a team of nine employees in Germany and Spain, overseeing resource planning, prioritization, collaboration, and professional development

Core Skills/experience:

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash (O2C) or related finance processes, ideally in an international Shared Services Centre (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) environment
• Experience managing and optimizing global finance processes, leading international transformation projects, and driving continuous improvement, compliance, and team development through effective leadership and resource planning
• Full professional proficiency in English, and German is a plus
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems, with an interest in digital innovation and process improvement
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify risks, manage escalations and drive process improvements
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across international teams and multicultural environments
