QC Technician (Shift)

As a QC Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality standards through laboratory analysis, testing and quality assurance activities. Working as part of a collaborative operations team, you'll contribute to the production of premium products supplied to customers around the world.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out laboratory analysis using approved methods and procedures.
  • Testing raw materials, in-process and finished products to ensure they meet specification.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate laboratory data and quality records.
  • Calibrating laboratory equipment and maintaining laboratory standards.
  • Conducting quality checks within the production environment.
  • Investigating and reporting quality issues and supporting corrective actions.
  • Assisting with product sampling, customer sample preparation and production trials where required.
  • Working closely with production teams to maintain exceptional quality standards.

Please note: This position requires shift working to support production requirements. Flexibility to work shifts is essential.

About You

We are interested in candidates who have:

  • Previous Quality Control or Laboratory experience within the food manufacturing industry or similar environment (highly desirable).
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or production laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, laboratory procedures and analytical testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

We would also welcome applications from recent graduates with a degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biological Sciences or another relevant scientific discipline who are looking to begin a career in Quality Control.
