The Opportunity
 We are currently working with a leading, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join their London office. The Role
 As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and delivering projects across a wide range of sectors – from performance spaces and workplaces to large-scale urban developments. You will be working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients and your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading small to medium projects from concept through to completion.
  • Collaborating with project teams on large-scale developments.
  • Carrying out sound measurements and acoustic analysis using industry-leading tools and software including CadnaA, SoundPLAN, ODEON etc.
  • Producing high-quality technical reports, presentations, and advice for clients.
  • Attending client meetings and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of acoustic design standards and practices.

About You
 The successful candidate will be a motivated and creative individual with the following:

  • Proven experience in acoustic engineering / acoustic consultancy within the UK.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Acoustics (or equivalent), or a related discipline with an IOA Diploma.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
