Senior Air Quality Consultant
Location: Brighton
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

An established and highly respected environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to join their growing team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned air quality professional with strong air dispersion modelling experience (ADMS / AERMOD) to take on a senior technical role within a collaborative and forward-thinking business.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and deliver air quality assessments for a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure schemes.
• Produce high-quality reports, technical notes, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) chapters.
• Manage client relationships, support business development activities, and contribute to project proposals.
• Mentor junior consultants and support the growth of the air quality offering.
• Undertake detailed air dispersion modelling and provide expert interpretation of results.

About You

We’re looking for a motivated and technically strong consultant with:

• Previous experience working for a UK consultancy having done air dispersion modelling (ADMS, AERMOD, or similar tools).
• A solid understanding of UK air quality legislation, planning guidance, and EIA processes.
• Proven experience delivering air quality assessments in a consultancy environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Membership of IAQM or IES (desirable).
