Our Client is seeking a dynamic and driven Logistics Coordinator/Assistant to play a pivotal role in their well-established concrete products manufacturing company, specialising in GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) and Cast Stone. With over 20 years of industry experience, their professional approach, bespoke service, and friendly team have driven continuous business growth.


Working closely with Directors, the Production Planning Manager, warehouse, and incoming driver teams, you will manage all aspects of logistics coordination and administration. You will be part of a hardworking team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, adapting quickly to changing business requirements, and thinking innovatively.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Cost-effective dispatch planning for all customer orders
  • Coordinating haulage of goods
  • Managing customer orders, liaising with production, processing paperwork, and maintaining supporting files
  • Prioritising order shipments in collaboration with the Production Planning Manager
  • Order processing and checking
  • Proactively planning and tracking orders to completion
  • Responding to sales enquiries from current and new customers promptly
  • Assisting with the production of warehouse performance data
  • Providing operational support as a key member of the office team

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a logistics role
  • Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building abilities with clients and key business contacts at all levels of seniority
  • Capability to manage and prioritise work with minimal supervision

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience
  • Benefits: Company pension, on-site parking
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • Experience: Logistics (1 year required), working in a UK office (3 years required)
