Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering / Highways

We’re working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering highways and infrastructure works across the UK. They’ve got a strong pipeline of work and are looking to bring in a Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing growth.

This is a solid opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where you’ll be given autonomy, support, and genuine progression.

The role:

• Manage project costs from early stage through to final account
• Handle CVRs, valuations, and payment applications
• Price works, variations, and compensation events
• Manage subcontractor packages, orders, and payments
• Identify and manage commercial risks
• Support contract administration (NEC) and client liaison
• Work closely with operational teams to keep projects on track financially

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in a QS role within civil engineering or similar
• Ideally exposure to highways, drainage, or infrastructure projects
• Understanding of NEC contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and good attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to work with clients and site teams
