Aztrum is delighted to be partnering with a well-established Architectural practice in Abingdon that is continuing to grow following a strong pipeline of exciting projects. 

My client is looking to welcome a motivated Architect who is eager to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Architects and gain hands-on project experience across all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities for this Architect role:

• Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA work stages
• Produce accurate technical drawings and presentation material 
• Assist with planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and technical documentation
• Prepare presentation drawings, reports and design information for client meetings
• Work closely with Architects, Technologists and consultants throughout project delivery
• Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site visits
• Assist with coordinating project information and maintaining drawing packages
• Contribute to the development of creative, practical and technically sound design solutions
• Support junior members of the team where required

Key Requirements for this Architect role:

• ARB registered Architect with a recognised UK architectural qualification
• Previous experience within a UK architectural practice
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA work stages
• Excellent design, technical drawing and presentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive approach with the ability to take responsibility for project delivery
• Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Previous experience coordinating with consultants and wider design teams is highly desirable
