We are currently looking to hire a permanent full-time Restaurant Manager to join our existing team for our client’s 4 Star Hotel Property in Co Laois. 

The hotel is a luxury hotel therefore it is imperative that the candidate must have the ability to deliver an exceptionally high level of Guest Service in a confident and professional manner. 

This position is located in the Hotel’s Luxurious Fine Dining Restaurant which is a busy food outlet and would suit a candidate who has a strong food services background, ideally, in fine dining The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall management of their main High-End Restaurant Management responsibilities:

  • To ensure the consistent delivery of service to each and every guest and to ensure your team do likewise 
  • To manage, train and develop the restaurant team, ensuring objectives are set and regularly monitored 
  • To carry out continuous training with each of your team to ensure the hotels standards are being consistently maintained 
  • To ensure that the Hotel’s Service Values and Core Values are communicated to each team member to ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained at all times 
  • To ensure your team are well presented and that their demeanour is professional and polite at all times 
  • To ensure there is a constant management presence within your department at all times 
  • To monitor costs within the department 
  • To encourage upselling at every opportunity 
  • To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel 
  • To ensure stock control procedures are adhered To carry out weekly/monthly stock takes 
  • To ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in compliance with company policy, ensuring all colleagues are trained 
  • To work towards achieving high hotel inspection results 

The successful candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of food & beverage management experience, preferably within a 4-star restaurant environment.
