My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices across the UK, are searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their supportive team in Aberdeen.
You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in infrastructure, civil and geotechnical engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors. You will also have the chance to complete geotechnical designs including foundations, earthworks and slope stability.
You will also have the chance to complete site visits across the region.
As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
-Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using infodrainage and causeway flow.
-Foundation, retaining walls and slope stability design.
-Borehole logging, soil sampling and desk studies.
-Earthworks modelling.
-Site visits.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a keen interest in geotechnical, flood risk and drainage engineering.
It is essential for applicants to reside locally as you will be required to work from the office 3 days a week. A driving licence is also preferred.
