We're recruiting on behalf of a growing facilities maintenance business that continues to secure major contracts and invest heavily in its people. Due to continued growth, we're looking to appoint a Service Planner to join the operations team at the company's head office in Knutsford.

This is a busy, fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for coordinating engineers, managing workloads and ensuring maintenance works are delivered efficiently across multiple contracts.

No two days are the same. One minute you'll be planning engineer schedules, the next you'll be speaking with clients, chasing updates, arranging subcontractors or dealing with urgent maintenance issues.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Scheduling engineers and managing daily workloads
• Coordinating reactive, planned and remedial maintenance works
• Liaising with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
• Managing engineer diaries and allocating work effectively
• Raising purchase orders and processing associated paperwork
• Monitoring job progress and ensuring service levels are achieved
• Providing updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Chasing outstanding paperwork, quotations and job updates
• Updating CAFM systems, spreadsheets and client portals
• Supporting compliance activities and contract administration

What We're Looking For

• Service Coordination
• Contract Coordination
• Facilities Management
• Maintenance Planning
• Helpdesk Coordination
• Engineer Scheduling
• Reactive and Planned Maintenance

Successful candidates will also:

• Be confident communicating with engineers, subcontractors and clients
• Be highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
• Remain calm under pressure when priorities change
• Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Have strong IT and system skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to the location of the role

Experience working within Facilities Management, Building Services, Maintenance or a similar environment would be highly advantageous.
