Civil Engineer (Drainage)

A growing engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer with a strong drainage focus to support its expanding infrastructure team.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of development projects, delivering sustainable and effective drainage solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.

The role:
• Deliver drainage design across a range of developments
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
• Design SuDS and surface water management systems
• Produce technical drawings, calculations, and reports
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
• Support projects from concept through to detailed design

The ideal candidate:
• Experience in drainage design within a consultancy environment
• Strong understanding of UK drainage standards and guidance
• Proficiency in MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, Civil 3D or similar
• Experience producing FRAs and drainage strategies
• Strong communication and coordination skills
