Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving business growth? We’re partnering with a well-established and rapidly expanding Managed Service Provider (MSP) that delivers innovative IT solutions to organisations across the UK.

Specialising in managed IT support, cloud services, cyber security, and IT infrastructure, our client has earned an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional service and long-term customer success. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an Account Manager to join their Leicester-based team.

This role comes with an established portfolio of clients, meaning there’s no need to bring your own contacts or accounts. Instead, you'll focus on nurturing existing relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customers receive maximum value from the company's solutions and services.

The Opportunity

As an Account Manager, you’ll act as a trusted partner to your clients, helping them achieve their business objectives through tailored technology solutions. You'll be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, increasing account revenue through upselling and cross-selling, and collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and convert upselling and cross-selling opportunities across managed IT, cloud, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to maximise customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a consistently high level of service.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to business growth through proactive account development and referral-led new business opportunities.

About You

  • Previous experience in an Account Management role within an MSP, IT services, technology, or telecoms environment.
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud technologies, and cyber security solutions.
  • Commercially minded with a proven ability to identify and develop revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and stakeholders effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve targets and deliver results.
