A well-established consultancy specialising in project management, cost consultancy, and energy modelling is looking to expand its sustainability team.
With a strong focus on retrofit, building performance, and carbon reduction, the team supports clients in improving the environmental impact of both commercial and residential assets.
The role:
This position is ideal for someone with solid experience in building performance modelling, energy assessments, and overheating analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering low-carbon solutions and improving energy efficiency across a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
• Producing energy and sustainability reports for planning
• Carrying out overheating and operational energy assessments
• Developing dynamic simulation models using industry tools
• Delivering whole life carbon and performance benchmarking studies
• Producing compliance calculations and EPCs
• Supporting retrofit strategies and energy efficiency improvements
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
About you:
• Experience in energy modelling and sustainability consultancy
• Strong knowledge of building performance and UK regulations
• Proficiency in dynamic simulation software (e.g. IES VE)
• Understanding of building services and mechanical systems
• Ability to analyse data and communicate technical insights clearly
