Cladding Specialist – Architect / Architectural Technologist (Revit)

City Build Recruitment is working with an established, internationally active architecture practice to find a Cladding Specialist for its Toronto studio. This is a strong fit for an architect or technologist who loves the technical side of the building envelope and takes pride in precise, buildable cladding details.

You'll join one of the firm's project teams and report to a Project Manager. Your focus will be high-standard Revit construction drawings and details on large-scale commercial and mixed-use buildings.

What you'll be doing

- Producing detailed cladding and building envelope drawings in Revit, with an emphasis on technical accuracy
- Working closely with architects and senior technologists to turn design intent into technical cladding details
- Helping to resolve technical issues as projects develop
- Supporting the review of submittals and shop drawings for cladding elements
- Delivering work to a high quality standard and on agreed deadlines

What you'll bring

- 5 to 8 years of architectural production experience (DD and CD), with proven experience in cladding and building envelope systems
- Strong proficiency in Revit (required)
- Experience on commercial, mixed-use and residential buildings
- Solid knowledge of cladding systems and their performance considerations
- Excellent communication skills
- A collaborative approach, comfortable working in teams of 3 to 30
