Aztrum is working in partnership with a leading UK planning consultancy to recruit a talented and commercially aware RTPI and/or RICS qualified Planner to join their dynamic team based in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s most highly regarded planning teams. You’ll be involved in a variety of high-profile, impactful projects across the retail, leisure, commercial, urban regeneration, and economic development sectors.

The Role:

As a key member of the Manchester-based planning team, you will:

• Work on diverse projects across the UK for a broad client base, including national and regional developers, major occupiers, investors, and corporate clients
• Contribute to the delivery of planning strategies and applications for major retail, leisure, and regeneration developments
• Collaborate with internal teams across development, investment, agency, and project consultancy functions
• Play an active role in shaping city centres, large-scale housing schemes, commercial hubs, and transformative regeneration projects

Current Project Highlights:

• Regeneration of a major brownfield site in Salford, including over 3,000 homes and a landmark residential tower
• Delivery of life sciences campuses in Stevenage, Oxford, and Cambridge
• Development of new retail parks for institutional investors and pension funds
• Rollout of high-profile food store projects nationwide
• Major city-centre regeneration schemes in Liverpool

What We’re Looking For:

• RTPI and/or RICS qualified
• A commercially minded planner with consultancy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Passion for shaping places and delivering positive planning outcomes
