What You’ll Be Doing:

As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead acoustic assessments across a wide range of sectors and environments. From environmental noise monitoring and modelling to building acoustics and impact studies, your role will blend hands-on technical work with project leadership and client engagement.

  • Delivering acoustic consultancy services from initial brief through to final reporting
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Conducting noise and vibration surveys, modelling, and analysis
  • Mentoring junior consultants and supporting their professional growth
  • Collaborating with planners, architects, engineers, and regulators
  • Helping shape project strategies and supporting business development

What You Bring:

  • A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • 4–5 years+ of experience in acoustic consultancy
  • Solid understanding of environmental and building acoustics standards (e.g., BS 4142, BB93)
  • Skilled in tools like SoundPLAN, CadnaA, Odeon, etc.
  • Excellent communicator, both in written reports and with clients/stakeholders
  • IOA membership or working towards chartered status is a plus
