Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Location: Plymouth 

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

We are looking for a passionate Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s Plymouth-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable design and decarbonisation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on innovative projects across the built environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend client meetings and site visits
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, undertaking multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are met
• Produce detailed and technical design advice to clients 
• Conduct calculations, produce reports and specifications with excellent written and communication skills.
• Produce detailed electrical designs using latest industry software

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to confidently use industry software/tools such as Dialux, Revit, Relux etc. 
• Experience working as an Electrical Engineer, with proven ability to deliver on a range of projects
• Evident experience working with clients/contractors/architects in a design/ consultant role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
