Job Title: Architectural Designer

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Aztrum is delighted to be working with a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice. With ambitious growth plans set for 2025, this well-established studio is known for its open, collaborative working culture and clear communication across clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Specialising across a diverse range of sectors, the practice is currently seeking a talented, well-rounded Architectural Designer to join their team and contribute to their exciting work within the Hospitality sector. With a strong focus on creating high-quality, people-centred spaces, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary studio delivering real value.

Key Responsibilities for this Architectural Designer role: 

• Take the lead in shaping innovative architectural concepts that meet client aspirations, blend aesthetics with function, and respond to project-specific requirements.
• Manage projects through all phases—from initial briefing to completion—ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, including regular site involvement.
• Work across all RIBA Stages (0–7), contributing to each phase with clarity and expertise.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary in-house teams—designers, engineers, and project managers—to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate design intent effectively through presentations, regular updates, and feedback sessions with clients to ensure their vision is brought to life.
• Utilise advanced design software, including AutoCAD, to develop accurate 3D models and comprehensive architectural drawings.
• Integrate sustainable design principles to promote environmentally responsible and energy-efficient solutions across all projects.

Qualifications for this Architectural Designer role: 

• Proven experience in the Hospitality sector or involvement in large-scale architectural projects.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
• Registered Architect status or actively working toward professional licensure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate design documentation.
• Solid understanding of building codes, regulatory requirements, and construction methodologies.
